SUMMER PROMOTION FOR TAKIS SNACKS.

Takis asked for a full 360 summer promotion. The client wanted the concept to highlight lifestyle while being a catalyst in bringing the intensity into consumers summers. The concept that we landed on was “Ignite Your Intensity”. My role in this project was creating the visual identity to the campaign and creating all visual assets that would be released all summer long.

IGNITE YOUR INTENSITY

This concept aims to take whatever consumers are passionate about and make sure Takis is used as that catalyst to help you elevate your summer passions and conquer anything you set your mind to. Takis aims to “Ignite You Intensity” and takeover your summer. By blending brand colors/attributes I created an asset package that is used across all visuals, and a look & feel that highlights the intensity of Takis, while also capturing the ask of incorporating passions and lifestyle.

Tease & LAUNCH POSTS

Concepted and storyboarded a few posts that would later be animated into videos for paid & organic posts. All posts were also resized for 1x1 & 4x15 in-feed posts while also 9x16 variations for stories.

Teaser POST

Created a story/reels post to live on IG & FB to give a countdown to when the giveaway will begin. Also storyboarded a teaser video that builds hype and brings awareness to the upcoming summer promotion.

Every week was given a specific theme and split into two weeks, week 1 being a big prize & week 2 being a loot box with smaller prizes related to the week that is given to multiple winners. And winners were announced via stories at the end of the week.

DESIGN CHOICES

In order to capture lifestyle we used an OLV created by Takis and captured screen grabs along with using past Takis photoshoots, this paired with the purple concert as a background creates a nice texture to lay copy heavy information on. To top off every asset is an overlay of a grunge “white dust” texture along with hand drawn illustrations that pertain to the designated week while adding emphasis and movement to each asset.

Other visuals were also created for this summer promotion ranging from profile visual updates across all platforms (YouTube, FaceBook, TikTok, IG and Twitter), a buckslip for winner, and website hero page visuals
